A group of U-V claims. This locality has been subject to question, however the localities were discovered when they were visited by Michael Cline, and Michael Shannon, who found survey/claim markers at the claims that had "D-Day Mine #_" written on the markers. This group of mines may be those recorded by Stokes (1952) on the east rim of Owl Canyon as one of the subsidiary locality tags from Shannon and Sons for the D-Day Mines listed Owl Canyon, Yellow Cat District, Utah.

The US Bureau of Land Management database shows that Carina Energy Inc. placed a claim on the D-Day #2 mine on June 6, 2007 (June 6th was the date for operation overlord "D-Day"), which was only valid for a year.
