The Wonder North Gold Mine is an abandoned open pit 70 kilometres north of Leonora and 1.5 kilometres east of the Goldfields Highway. The Wonder West Gold Mine is 500 metres north-west of the mine.
It was developed across 2000 to 2002 by Sons of Gwalia, in conjunction with the Wonder West and Celtic open pits.
Bligh Resources came to own the deposits through its gradual takeover of SR Mining Pty Ltd. Bligh estimated in November 2014 that Wonder North contains 3.9 Mt of ore at 1.94 g/t yielding 242 000 ounces of gold.
