Small quarry, with only one level, measuring some 125m x 30m (400 ft x 100 ft), seemingly inactive when visited on November 9th, 2011. It has been in existence since around 1948.
The following description has been taken from the Deposit File of the Ministère des ressources naturelles et de la faune (MRNF):
"Essentially a reticular dolomitic calcilutite of the Strites Pond Formation, light to medium gray."
A large number of cavities up to 4 cm (1.5 in.) were found during this visit. They were lined with greyish dolomite, on which acicular, well-terminated water-clear quartz crystals to 1 cm (0.4 in.) were perched. Crystallized calcite,white and brilliant, is also present.

La description suivante a été tirée de la fîche de gîte du Ministère des ressources naturelles et de la faune (MRNF):
"Essentiellement une calcilutite dolomitique réticulaire de la Formation de Strites Pond, gris clair à moyen".
Lors de la visite, un grand dombre de cavités, atteignant 4 cm (1.5 po.), ont été observées, les cavités étant tapissées de dolomite grisâtre sur laquelle des cristaux aciculaires, bien terminés, de quartz hyalin jusqu'à 1 cm (0.4 po.) sont perchés. De la calcite cristallisée, blanche et brillante est aussi présente.
