A total of 1,6 t of iron meteorite shrapnel (thousands of pieces) was found in a 45-meter wide meteorite impact crater, estimated to be less than 5,000 years old.
Iron-ungrouped Ni-rich ataxite, characterized by extensive shear deformation and low weathering.
Located near the border to Sudan (near Jebel Uweinat mountain range?).
