Located in Kobuk Valley National Park.
Location: Along Kobuk River northwest of VABM Kavet in T. 20 N., R. 1 W., Kateel River Meridian. Shown as locality 12 in Mayfield and Grybeck (1978) and accurate to within 2000 ft. (600 m).
Geology: Most likely a placer or reworked moraine containing jade boulders.
Workings: Assessment work reports jade cutting. One to two claims reported in period 1968-1970 (Mayfield and Grybeck, 1978).
