A Cu occurrence/prospect with surface workings located in sec. 27, T11S, R8E.
Mineralization is a tabular ore body 1.52 meters wide, hosted in diorite. A 5 foot mineralized zone below a fine-grained dike dipping 45 degrees SW. The area around is fairly barren, low propylitic type alteration. It is suspected that this is due to the pooling of fluids under a low permeability dike. Alteration includes quartz-sericite-pyrite. An associated rock unit is plutonic igneous rock.
Workings include four prospect pits. Not a mineable thing at the surface. The upper show; however, may be an indication of better things at depth.
