These magnetite clusters contain a high proportion of chalcopyrite. Their oxidation gives rise to ferruginous gossan, formed of siderite, limonite, tenorite, cuprite and malachite and in which sometimes remain remnants of chalcopyrite, as well as chalcocite and covellite which come from the cementation of this mineral.(BRGM, 1976, Geological map notice 1/50 000 Saint-Louis).
