Mina San Sixto
Conquista is included in Los Pedroches valley in Sierra Morena range. Bismuth veins were discovered at the beginning of the XX century. Mine is located in the zone of "slate crossed by veins of bismuth almost parallel..." located to the North of the granite stain that crosses the term. Place where bismuth metallization occurs between 100 and 300 meters approximately from the contact of the metamorphic slates of the Culm with the Los Pedroches granite.
The San Sixto and San Isidro mines were popularly always called Mina del Inglés by its owners and first engineers.
