In pegmatite.
In 1942, G. Colautti, of Keystone Contractors, limited, recovered feldspar
and quartz from a pegmatite mass on the Deady property, lot 117, range B,
north of the Opeongo Road, Jones township. The quarry is 260 feet northeast
from highway No. 60 at the northwest end of a small lake.
In 1942, 260 tons of potash feldspar and 323 tons of quartz were shipped, and it is believed all the minable feldspar has been removed. (ARV53)
