A gold property located about 35 km N of Carlin. Mine is a large open pit, overall 2,000 m long, 500 m wide and up to 200 m deep, comprised of four connected pits (West, Main, South & East). Estimated total production is just under 4,000,000 Troy Oz. of gold. Owned by Newmont Gold Co.

No Ba present by spectrographic check. This was confirmed by x-ray also by Bill Wise (via Bruce Runner) and also by Jim McGlassen. Deep sigh. They were thr best vesignieites I had seen." The second article confirmed that vesignieite had been found, but the specimens were far inferior to the original misidentified specimens. |
