West Arnhem Region is one of the regional local government areas of the Northern Territory, located east of Darwin. Along with East Arnhem Region, these two regions represent much of the "top end of the Northern Territory".
The West Arnhem Region covers an area of approximately 49,698 square kilometres.
West Arnhem Region was previously referred to as a Shire, being renamed effective 1 January 2014.
