WC3-A4RCelestine SrSO4
Lincoln Quarry, Clinton Township, Niagara Region, Ontario, CanadaDimensions: 20 mm x 13 mm x 6 mm
Pale blue Celestine Crystal found near the front of the Quarry. Out of my 15 plus trips to this location this is the first Celestine Crystal I have found at this location.
601-MV4Celestine SrSO4
Lincoln Quarry, Clinton Township, Niagara Region, Ontario, CanadaDimensions: 13 mm x 10 mm x 6 mm
This is the first well formed Celestine Crystal I have found at this location. This Crystal was found in a vug mixed in with Calcite and Gypsum in an area of the Quarry with little to no mineralization.
FQD-AFMDolomite CaMg(CO3)2 , Fluorite CaF2 , Calcite CaCO3 , Sphalerite ZnS
Canal dump, Niagara Falls, Niagara Region, Ontario, CanadaDimensions: 70 mm x 40 mm
Small cavity with 5 different minerals in it. Dolomite, calcite, sphalerite, purple fluorite and the 5th is either gypsum or selenite.
723-135Fluorite CaF2
Spring Creek Aggregates, Clinton Township, Niagara Region, Ontario, CanadaDimensions: 20 mm x 15 mm x 15 mm
Collected on a Walker Mineralogical club trip, this fluorite crystal is clear on the inside with a deep purple exterior and contains numerous zones. The clear fluorite fluoresces under shortwave light similar to the fluorite found at the Flamborough quarry.
4MD-2Q5Fluorite CaF2
Spring Creek Aggregates, Clinton Township, Niagara Region, Ontario, CanadaDimensions: 20 mm x 10 mm x 10 mm
Largest Crystal Size: 20 mm
Collected on a Walker Mineralogical club trip, this fluorite crystal with clear centre and deep purple zoning on the perimeter. The clear fluorite fluoresces under short wave light and has a minimal reaction under long wave light.
8NN-QT5Fluorite CaF2
Canal dump, Niagara Falls, Niagara Region, Ontario, CanadaLargest Crystal Size: 2.5 cm
Various chunks of pale blue Fluorite.
TYK-F6PFluorite CaF2 , Calcite CaCO3
Canal dump, Niagara Falls, Niagara Region, Ontario, CanadaLargest Crystal Size: 5.5 cm
A very large crystal of deep purple Fluorite measuring 5.5 by 5.5 cm and who knows how deep. Some delicate Calcite removal has exposed some of the natural crystal faces and overall general shape. When the light catches it just right it looks very deep inside. Makes a nice garden rock.

Canal dump, Niagara Falls, Niagara Region, Ontario, CanadaField of View: 1 cm
A small 1 mm Sphalerite crystal encased in purple Flourite.
HVC-DCMCalcite CaCO3
Highway 403 Roadcut, Hamilton, Ontario, CanadaDimensions: 14 cm x 4 cm
Largest Crystal Size: 23 mm
A plate of small doubly terminated Calcite crystals. The crystals fluoresce purple under shortwave light with a white glow near the ends of the crystals that appears to be a coating of some kind. They also fluoresce under longwave light.
3MQ-73YCalcite CaCO3
Highway 403 Roadcut, Hamilton, Ontario, CanadaDimensions: 18 cm x 12 cm
Largest Crystal Size: 2.5 mm
A plate of Calcite crystals 18 cm by 12 cm. The specimen fluoresces various colours under shortwave light. Its highly likely that there are other minerals in the specimen beyond Calcite. The specimen also reacts under longwave light as well. Even though in the photo it appears the crystals are sheered off, the face of the plate of Calcite crystals is virtually complete.
