5H4-33MFluorite CaF2 , Pyrite FeS2 , Calcite CaCO3
Foucault Quarry, Brownsburg-Chatham, Argenteuil RCM, Laurentides, Québec, CanadaThis picture was taken April 14th, 2011.
It shows a massive calcite vein, with enclosed crystallized green fluorite, and pyrite, partly massive and also as hemispheric nodules.
Cavities in a block
Foucault Quarry, Brownsburg-Chatham, Argenteuil RCM, Laurentides, Québec, CanadaThis picture was taken November 15th, 2011.
Further to a large blast, dozens of small blocks such as this one were scattered all around the surface of the blast pile. The crowbar in this picture is only 40 cm (16 inch) long, so the rock specimen is around that size.
It shows multiple cavities, the largest on at bottom left showing a broken pale green fluorite crystal, and (barely visible) millimeter-sized quartz crystals.
The cavity at right contains two corroded pyrite hemispheres.
