About Sapropelite
As a Commodity:
An inorganic sedimentary rock with between 8-50% sapropelic matter rich in alginite.
Also known as oil shale.
A kerogen-bearing, finely laminated brown or black sedimentary rock that will yield liquid or gaseous hydrocarbons on distillation.
