A material that is NOT an approved mineral species
This page is currently not sponsored. Click here to sponsor this page.
Formula:
CuFe(Pd,Rh)(S,As)4
part of As and Rh may come from the surrounding hollingworthite; alternatively may be given as (Fe,Pd,Rh)2.02Cu1.01(S,As)3.97
Compositionally resembles cuprorhodsite. Found together with 'UM1986-07-Bi:PbPdPtRhTe' and 'UM1986-38-S:AsPdPtRh' within a rim of a hollingworthite grain.
Forms the largest individual among the three unnamed species, namely a grain 3 x 8 microns in size.
The formula ratioes are similar to those of 'UM1981-17-S:CuIrPtRh'.
