Locality type: | Mine |
Classification |
---|
|
Species: | Beaverite-(Cu) |
Formula: | Pb(Fe23+Cu)(SO4)2(OH)6 |
Comments: | Bridges et al. (2011): "Thin earthy to micro-crystalline crusts of yellow-brown material in cavities in quartz, resembling some forms of beaverite, were checked by EDS and found to contain lead, copper and iron. The copper peaks were quite significant, but detailed microprobe (WDS/EPM) analysis would be necessary to be sure the mineral was not plumbojarosite." |
