A borate-gypsum occurrence located in sec. 14, T8N, R21W, SBM, 7.8 km (4.8 miles) WSW of Lake of the Woods (Kern County). Discovered 1898.
Mineralization is a borate deposit hosted in lake sediments, shale, and limestone.
Local structures include extensive folding and faulting.
