A Zn occurrence/prospect located in sec. 5, T20S, R31E, MDM, about 2.4 km (1.5 miles) NE of Camp Wishon, on National Forest wilderness land (Moses RARE II Area). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
NOTE: The coordinates provided by the MRDS file (35°12'33"N, 118°37'60"W) are in obvious error and place this locality deep into Kern County to the S. The coordinates for the center of sec. 5, T20S, R31E are 36°13'02"N, 118°38'26"W. The probable correct coordinates are 36°12'33"N, 118°38'59"W, which place the locality in the appropriate area, and are the coordinates presented here.
Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include unspecified underground openings.
