An asbestos occurrence located in sec. 24, T38N, R6W, MDM, 3.9 km (2.4 miles) NE of Whisly Bill Peak, along the East Fork Trinity River, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10,000 meters (sic).
Mineralization is asbestos as float along the road for 5 miles. Local rocks include ultramafic rocks, chiefly Mesozoic, unit 1 (Trinity Ophiolite).
