A Au-Ag prospect located in sec. 10, T35N, R11W, MDM, 4.7 km (2.9 miles) ENE of Stoveleg Gap, along an unnamed tributary (North Black Gulch ?) of the East Branch East Fork North Fork Trinity River, on Bureau of Land Management/National Forest wilderness land (Trinity Alps Wilderness). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Mineralization is a Au-Ag deposit. The ore body is a fissure vein with igneous activity as the primary ore control mechanism. There is slight wallrock alteration. Local rocks include schist of various types and ages, unit 7 (Klamath Mountains).
Workings include unspecified surface and underground openings.
