A pumice occurrence located in sec. 2, T40N, R3W, MDM, 1.9 km (6,400 feet) E of Gray Butte, along Squaw Valley Creek, on National Forest land. Also located in secs. 3 & 9, T40N, R3W, and in secs. 34 & 35, T41N, R3W, MDM. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Local rocks include Quaternary volcanic flow rocks, unit 1 (Cascade Volcanic Field).
