A gemstone (semiprecious) prospect located in sec. 26, T10N, R1E, SBM, 2.5 km (1.6 miles/8,200 feet) SE of Calico, along the western canyon wall of Mule Canyon. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters. Type of gemstone is not stated.
Local rocks include Tertiary intrusive rocks (hypabyssal), unit 7 (Northern Mojave Desert).
