A Au-Ag-Pb occurrence/prospect located in sec. (21 ?) 27, T13N, R11E, SBM, , 4.2 km (2.6 miles) S of Indian Spring (coordinates of record) (NE of Old Dad Mountain), on federal reservation land (Mojave National Preserve/East Mojave National Scenic Area). Wright, L.A., et al (1953) and Goodwin, Joseph Grant (1957) report the mine in sec. 27. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in limestone. Local rocks include recent (Holocene) volcanic flow units, unit 4 (Mojave Desert).
Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of a shallow shaft and 2 short tunnels.
