A former Au-Ag-Cu-Pb occurrence/mine located in sec. 3 & in the N½N½ sec. 10, T5N, R17E, SBM, 1.9 km (1.2 miles) SSE of Carbonate Peak (coordinates of record). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters. Part of the Bighorn Mine.
Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 110 foot incline, a 700 foot tunnel, winzes and drifts.
