A Au-Cu occurrence/abandoned claim located in the NW¼NE¼ sec. 19, T1S, R14E, SBM, 8.9 km (5.6 miles) SSE of the Sheep Hole Mountains (coordinates of record) at the extreme southern tip of the mountains, N of Clark Pass (gap) and highway 62, near the Riverside County line, on federal wilderness land (Sheephole Valley Wilderness). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.
This property was examined in conjunction with the mineral appraisal of the Sheep Hole/Cadiz Wilderness Study Area (Bureau of Land Management) in 1980-1981. Backup information can be found in the WFOC mineral property files.
Local rocks include Quaternary sand deposits, unit 2 (inland).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 10 foot shaft.
