A stone deposit located in the N½ sec. 36, T3N, R9W, MDM, 0.4 km (0.2 mile) NNW of Inverness Park and 1.7 km (5,600 feet) W of Point Reyes Station, on land of unknown ownership. Section number questionable; MRDS stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 1 (Salinian Block).

Comments: Salinian terrane, west-central California. Granitic rocks of varied composition and with emplacement ages of about 75 to 120 Ma
