A stone (crushed/broken) deposit/quarry located in the E½ sec. 34, T2N, R4W, MDM, 0.6 km (0.3 mile; 1,800 feet) ENE of El Sobrante (4 miles E of San Pablo). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters. Intermittently used as a source of crusher-run base materials. Inactive in 1958.
Local rocks include Plio-Pleistocene and Pliocene loosely consolidated deposits.
Workings include surface openings comprised of a quarry operation.
