A former Hg mine located in sec. 34, T18S, R13E, MDM, 1.1 km (3,700 feet) S of Wright Mountain (coordinates of record), near the San Benito County line. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in the New Idria serpentine body. Local rocks include ultramafic rocks, chiefly Mesozoic, unit 3 (Coast Ranges and Western Klamath Mountains).
