A former Hg mine located in secs. 17 & 18, T18S, R13E, MDM, 5.1 km (3.2 miles) NW of Wright Mountain, near the San Benito County line. Produced during the periods 1941-1954 & 1956-1958. Owned by Eugene J. Jacques. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in rocks of the Panoche Formation (shale, Late Jurassic sandstone), and the New Idria serpentine body. Alteration
