A placer Au occurrence(s) located principally/centered on sec. 20 (also located in secs. 6, 7, 17-20, 22, 23, 26, 28-33 and 35), T19N, R4E, MDM, 0.8 km (2,500 feet) SSW of South Oroville, along the railroad. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 5,000 meters.
NOTE: These localities are evident on the topo map as several areas of tailings along the railroad, near the yard, and between the railroad and the town of South Oroville.
Local rocks include Plio-Pleistocene and Pliocene loosely consolidated deposits.
