An U-Pumice occurrence located in the SE¼SE¼ sec. 12, T23N, R21E, G&SRM, 0.9 km (0.6 mile) SSE of Bidahochi (town), 0.2 miles SE of Bidahochi Trading Post.
Mineralization is a disseminated ore body hosted in Pliocene shale, siltstone and limestone of the Upper Member Of Tertiary Bidahochi Formation. Extremely finely disseminated uranium in limestone and laminated siltstone and shale of the Bidahochi Formation associated with a diatreme feature also containing bedded tuff, evaporites and chert. Local rocks include rocks of the Glen Canyon Group. The Arizona Department of Mineral Resources locates volcanic ash in sec. 11, T23N, R22E.
