A former Cu occurrence/mine located in the NW¼ sec. 32, T30N, R2E, G&SRM, 7.9 km (4.9 miles) WSW of Tusayan, 1.5 miles NW of Apex, on National Forest land. Owned by William and G. McComick, Arizona (1943), The USGS MRDS database stated accuracy for this locality is 500 meters.
Mineralization includes secondary copper minerals in ore in horizontal bedding planes and joints in Late Permian limestone. Local rocks include Permian sedimentary rocks.
Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of cuts and adits with an overall length of 304.8 meter.
