Grube Anna, Fahl
Former fluorite mine, not far from the village of Fahl near Todtnau, in the Silberberg area. Mining had been carried out there for centuries.
The Anna mine began operating in 1913.
In 1937, the Finstergrund union took over the mine and operated it until 1959.
The mine had several levels and supplied significant quantities of fluorite, until the reserves were exhausted.
There are still several mining dumps on the Silberberg.
Some good opportunities for mineral collectors here, but the area is part of a landscape conservation area.
