The Vilter quarry, Berg van Willemke or Velterberg is a marl quarry in the Dutch municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul in South Limburg. The underground quarry is located west of Valkenburg in the Bergse Heide slope forest on the northern edge of the Margraten Plateau in the transition to the Geuldal. At the site, the plateau plunges steeply for several meters.
About 600 meters to the east are the Carolus quarry, Pompstation Heytgracht and the Einde Plenkertweg quarry, about 350 meters to the southwest is the Meertens quarry and about 530 meters to the west is the Wolfsdries quarry.
After 1800 the quarry was mined by block breakers.
The quarry was also used as a quarry house for a period of time.
In the 20th century, the quarry was used as a mushroom farm.
The Vilter quarry is a medium-sized quarry with a main corridor of 120 meters long. The quarry has an area of 14955 m² (1.5 hectares) and a corridor length of 2060 linear meters.
The entrance to the quarry is closed, so that bats can use the quarry as a roost.
