The Alpha Quarry is a marl quarry in the Dutch municipality of Valkenburg aan de Geul in South Limburg. The underground quarry is located on the west side of Valkenburg on the Plenkertstraat in Plenkert on the northern edge of the Margraten Plateau in the transition to the Geuldal. At the site, the plateau plunges steeply for several meters.
About 50 meters to the northwest is the Grafkelder Loisel ("Loisel Tomb") behind the Reformed Church, about 100 meters to the northwest is the Plenkert quarry, to the south is the Gemeentegrot ("Municipal Cave") quarry and about 20 meters to the southeast are the Bergkelders Villa Alpha quarries. The Villa Alpha is located northeast of the quarry entrance, and there is a small square in front of the entrance.
In the late Middle Ages, the quarry was already mined by block breakers.
The Alpha quarry has a corridor of over 43 meters long, several side corridors and an area of approximately 259 square meters.
