Structure: On West Edge Of Mcdermitt Caldera Complex Faults
Deposit: White quartz veins in fault structures. Pyrite in wall rock. Also gray, greasy, quartz present. Considerable pyrite in places.
Deposit type: Volcanogenic U
Development: Area was being actively prospected at time of examination in 1984. Location notice: ic-73-claim name; staked oct 2, 1982 by chevron usa, golden, colo. Examiner talked to ken holtz of mcdermitt mine; he says they have leased property from bengoa, et al. They have this canyon, gold hill canyon to ridge top and south to horse canyon.
