A small quarry not far from the Myrstålmyra bog, located in the side of a low hill.
I missed this quarry during a trip in 2021 due to the presence of a natural "gorge" which I misstaken believed to be the quarry. And when not finding a quarry at this location, I became confused. However, aerial pictures at kart.1881.no had clearly indicated the presence of a quarry, and this year (August 2022) I located the quarry once and for all.
The dominating feldspar is albite, but microcline is also present. Muscovite is relatively abundant, though not in mineable quantities.
Small, elongated, platy dark brown-black crystals can be found as inclusions in albite in the southern part of the quarry wall. This might be allanite, but it seems that some actually might be pseudomorphs to biotite.
Signs of collecting indicate that this quarry was at least known to "some" persons.
Outside the quarry, loose rocks had been used to construct some walls, maybe part of a loading ramp.
