KGHM S.A. szyb SG-1 Z.G. Sieroszowice Główne
Until 1995, the Polkowice mine and the Sieroszowice mine constituted separate mining plants within KGHM S.A. Due to the slow depletion of the resources of the Polkowice mine and the lack of an ore enrichment plant at the Sieroszowice mine, in 1996 there was a fusion into one large mining plant Z.G. Polkowice-Sieroszowice. At present, the St. James Shaft is the main shaft of the merged mines and is the seat of its most important departments.
