A molybdenum mine worked in 1916-19, 1935-36 and 1939-40. Prospected in 1960-70's. The LiDAR map seems to confirm that there are three significant tailings in front of the mine. See Breilihei for a map.

The text for the Hundåsen Øst mine from the database over cultural heritage sites:
"Molybdenglans-gruve som var i drift 1916-1919 (i ein oppgang av kommunegrensa av 1927 er ho omtalt som det nedlagte molybdenskjerpet under Breiliheii) og på nytt i drift 1935-1936 og 1939-1940. Der blei teke ut prøvar i 1960-70-åra. Der ligg tre store steintippar utanfor. To inngangar møtest i ein stor hall. Mellom dei to inngangane ligg det ei steinblokk. Golvet i gruva ligg i tre høgder nedover.
