A Ag-Pb-Zn-Cu-Au mine located in the NE ¼ sec. 14, T.15S., R.2E. (protracted) in the Quijotoa Mountains. Owned by the Julian Merger Mines, Inc.
Mineralization is largely oxidized, irregular, quartz lenses containing spotty sulfides and free gold along shear zones and fractures in Laramide granitic intrusive.
Worked sporadically since the 1880's. Together with nearby prospects and mines, probably produced up to 100 tons of ore averaging about 200 oz. Ag/T, 8-9% Pb, 1% Cu and minor gold.
