A former small underground Pb-Zn-Ag-Cu-Au mine located in South-central sec. 13, T. 11 S., R.16E, 4 miles east of Marble Peak. Produced 1951-1957. Owned at times, or in part, by Mr. Marvin Combs (1956-1957); and, Hill.
Mineralization is a replacement deposit with an irregular ore body with spotty and irregular, partly oxidized lead, zinc and minor copper sulfides in Paleozoic limestone. Ore control was a fracture or fault near, but not on, a contact with an intrusive body. Alteration was oxidation. An associated rock unit is diorite.
Local structures include intrusives into Paleozoic limestones.
Workings include tunnels. Produced sporadically during 1951-1957, of some 80 tons of ore averaging about 13% Pb, 3% Zn, 3 oz. Ag/T and minor Cu & Au. Assumed to be adit shown on NW slope of Alder Canyon.
