A former small surface Cu-Ag-Au mine located in the East-central sec. 32, T.19S., R.25E. (Outlaw Mountain 7.5 minute topo map), approximately ½ mile NE of Gleeson, on private land. Produced 1919-1925. Operators included Thomas Cowen.
Mineralization is irregular pockets of oxidized copper ores in faulted and fractured Pennsylvanian-Permian Naco Group limestone. Ore control was faults and fractures in the limestone and along a dike perpendicular to bedding.
Workings are surface openings. About 100 tons of ore were produced intermittently from 1919 to 1925.
