An U occurrence/mine located in S-central sec. 18, T27N, Rl0E, G&SRM, SSE of Cemeron, on the N side of Black Point. This locality is not listed in the USGS MRDS database. The geographic coordinates presented for this locality are approximate to the center of sec. 18.
Mineralization is an U deposit hosted in a slump block of sandstone of the basal Petrified Forest Member of the Chinle Formation.
Workings include surface openings comprised of rim strippings and an open pit.
Production was 581 tons of ore @ 0.17% U3O8 (1958-1959).
