An U-V occurrence/mine located in E-central sec. 31, T28N, R10E, G&SRM, SSE of Cameron and ENE of Gray Mountain (town). This locality is not listed in the USGS MRDS database. The geographic coordinates presented for this locality are approximate to the center of sec. 31.
Mineralization is an U-V deposit hosted in the basal Petrified Forest Member as uraniferous silty lenses.
Workings include surface openings comprised of several shallow surface pits and scrapings.
Production was 37 tons of ore @ 0.13% U3O8; 0.09% V2O5 (1957).
