A former Zn occurrence/mine located in the NW¼NE¼ Sec. 12, T22N, R11W, 3.2 km (2.0 miles) SE of Elijah and 2.8 km (1.8 miles) SSW of Caulfield (Howell County), about 20 miles SW of West Plains (USGS Cureall quadrangle), near the Howell County line. Started about 1890.
Mineralization is hosted in the Jefferson City Dolomite.
Workings include surface openings comprised of a pit 320 feet by 250 feet and 60 feet deep.
