GML 761. Described by Gibb-Maitland as an isolated lease, three quarters of a mile north-west of the Great Eastern Gold Mine, and north-west (actually northeast) of the Day Dawn Gold Mine.
The lease embraced the old Union Jack GML 401 lease. It is a well defined reef traversing 2,500 feet in a south-west direction, with several shafts. There was much inflow of water and was used as a source of water for a battery and cyanide plant on MA 41. This may have been the Enterprise battery noted in newspaper articles in the late 1890's, run by the Enterprise syndicate, that also controlled the Day Dawn and Great Eastern Mines at the time.
No crushings were reported from the Enterprise mine itself.
There are several other small parallel reefs on the lease, but had little work done on them. A quartz reef is 800 feet to the south-west, traveling 3000 feet along the surface, before dis-appearing under an alluvial flat.
