Plage de Tahiti, Pen al Lann, Carantec, Finistère, Bretagne, France
A beach in the northeastern part of the town (Pen al Lann peninsula). Under and between the sand, you can see the light granite-intrusion of Carantec. On the beach, there is an enclave of dark schists, with veins of granite through it. Some follow the layering of the schist, others brake through it. The heat of the intrusion formed small crystals of andalusite in the schist.
