Montaña del Golfo, Yaiza, Lanzarote
Hill of hydromagmatic origin, built in a pyroclastic explosive eruption. The mountain is surrounded by the lava flows from the "Montaña Rajada" historical volcanic eruption (1730-1736) and "La Laguna Verde" close to the sea. Among the pyroclastic materials, peridotitic dunite volcanic bombs are usual, of mantel origin.
Take in mind the area is a National Natural Park, and collecting minerals is forbidden and could be penalized.
