An epidote occurrence located in secs. 11 & 14, T2N, R16E, MDM, about 2.0 km (6,700 feet) SE of Confidence, along the North Fork Tuolumne River.
NOTE: Coordinates provided are approximate to the center of the common boundary between secs. 11 & 14.
NOTE: The description of this locality places it very close to the Corona prospect, which lies on the boundary of the 2 specified sections; therefore, it is possible that this occurrence may be the Corona prospect. Research of the MRDS database files for the Corona prospect revealed no mention of the occurrence of epidote at that locality.
