Button Mine; Washington Chrome Mine
This nearly inaccessible mine is located on the northwest valley wall of Green Creek that worked lenses in dunite. It produced ore prior to 1956 and features an open cut.
The cut was serviced by a tram-line to the valley below where a mule train would take the mine trail to Saxon. It was operated by the Washington Chrome co.
